Group Exercise

Would you like to try a beginning indoor cycling class or a beginning step class? What about a beginning Yoga class? If you are starting out or if you have not been active for some time, it will be a treat for your body to start out easy and learn the fundamentals without getting lost the first try! If you are a seasoned and serious workout person, we have a variety of classes to help you to another level of fitness.

The Downtown Oakland YMCA is a very diverse community that welcomes all levels of fitness, size and age - we have a program for you to try.
